I just had to do that. Because these icons are so meant to be.

I have 1,814 deviations in my devWATCH to sort through. Wow. And sadly, I think I've had worse.

Well....

I am so very very sad to find one of my favorite images here on DA...has been edited. This image has +7,000 favs, and has finally been made into a print! BUT, with a new, edited version of the image. Now, I completely respect artists who come back to old work and change things because they've grown as artists. I just wish it had been uploaded separately.

Its like someone's sneaked into the Louvre and repainted the Mona Lisa with brighter, and more intense colors. I feel like having a Darth Vader, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" moment.

I so sad now, that image is just not the same for me anymore, and if I had come across it like that today, I wouldn't of given it a second look.

But really, it was honestly one of the strongest, most inspiring, photography images for me, here on DA. And now its gone, just like that. Am I being overdramatic? Perhaps.

"You cannot suit everybody, so you had better suit yourself." William Morris Hunt

I FOUND A SCHOOL! I'm so excited. Really, really excited. I spent a good two years figuring things out, and I finally found a place for me. I'm ready to make something out of my life now, and leave behind whatever bad has happened, and most of all the bullshit. I have alot of regrets but it's time to move on.

The school I am speaking of is Full Sail down in Florida. I visited them and was immensely impressed. They have amazing facilities and most of all a great attitude towards education. Their programs are amazing and are completely focused on entertainment media (filming, recording arts, show production, game design, digital arts, & entertainment business). What I thought was particularly interesting, was that this school--accepts pretty much anyone. Apparently, the founder was dyslexic and didn't like the restrictions that were made to him when trying to find a college. But, instead, the school expects a 90% attendance rate of their students or else they're out. So they'll give anyone the chance to pursue their passion but expect the student to work hard to stay there. Which I think is a great idea, because I've think there are alot of people out there, who are really smart and hardworking who just didn't succeed and fit in with the whole 'High School report card bullshit' train, and should be given the chance to do something they love. But also, there are alot of just lazy idiots, who can't get off their asses and attend classes, who shouldn't be able to just coast by (and they won't). Sounds pretty cool huh?

So HERE I GO. Time for applications and the like.

I am still here, wow. And working on a new piece, very exciting. Actually, I'm working on two versions of one piece. I haven't decided which one I like better yet so I'm casually using alot of time working on two different images, one of which will probably never see the light of day, sadly. Aren't I the little productive one? And where's the third party opinion when you need it? This one is a bit off set from my recent work. I suppose its a new phase, with different emotions/ideas. So we'll see where that lands me.

Let's see, I still don't know where I'm going to transfer to after this semester (WashU, or some specialized digital art school?), I still hate DA stock, and I'm pretty sure, nobody is reading up to this point. So I will leave you with just some square love...
